Hi. My name is Tai, and I graduated from Harvard College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. I have had extensive private tutoring and consulting experience helping many students do well and achieve A’s in math, science, and English classes through much practice and secret tips and strategies. I also help students develop and maintain a confident and positive mindset for success in exams, classes, and in life. I also helped Harvard undergraduates in Calculus, Biology, Organic Chemistry, and History as a peer tutor at the Harvard Bureau of Study Counsel. In addition, as a counselor at the Quest Scholars Program at Stanford University, I took part in tutoring and mentoring 21 academically gifted high school students in the nation in SAT math and verbal, environmental science, and writing and editing college admissions essays.
Overall, I genuinely believe that one of the main secrets to students doing well on standardized tests is establishing a positive mindset and confident attitude, which can be developed through rigorous and methodical practice of problems and test-taking skills.
I am most passionate about being an academic mentor and psychological coach, instilling in my students a positive sense of confidence and determination to do well on standardized exams and succeed in their classes.
I know that with much hard work and diligence, I can bring the out the best in each student that I help.
