Additional Information
When I started my higher ed progress, I began at a 2-year community college as opposed to a 4-year institution which offers a lot of benefits. Principally, most 4-year institutions, like UNM, are research institutions as opposed to teaching institutions. Administration encourages professors to spend as little time teaching as possible, and instead focus on filling out grant applications to bring in more money to the university.
Starting out at a 2-year institution allowed me to get an excellent basis in my chosen background before going on to an environment which was less conducive to education, but more conducive to connections and research.

Teaching Style
I prefer to teach through a style called Socratic debate. The basic principle goes that I present an argument and you as the student work to dismantle, analyze, and understand the argument through a discussion of the argument with me. I find this really helps with your arguments analysis skills, you're argument building skills, and really just cementing that information into your brain without having to spend hours memorizing it. I also just find the process to be very fun.
I like to supplement this form of debate with reading from primary source documentation and then deconstruction of that primary source document. I find that this helps people to really develop those arguments of analysis skills, especially when you go down to the axiom. It also really helps with those argument building skills, and it really helps with just cementing that information into place.
Hobbies & Personal Interest
I am of course a stereotype and love playing TTRPGs like dungeons& dragons and trading card games like magic the gathering. I've been a DM for about 3 years now. I've also been playing magic for the same time period. I generally play a version of the game called Commander and play all across the spectrum for that; from casual to competitive. In...

I've also been playing magic for the same time period. I generally play a version of the game called Commander and play all across the spectrum for that; from casual to competitive. In fact, I've gone several tournaments, written several articles, streamed with people like Tori of the vast, and even gotten one of my decks onto the competitive decklist database.
I also love to put together puzzles, read (though that's generally just history books), talk about wacky, linguistic facts, and cook.
